WHO ARE WE?
Welcome to Sturbridge Worship Center! We are a community of believers and friends, united by a passion to live out our Christian life to the full and share it with others. Started thirty-five years ago, Sturbridge Worship Center is a vibrant church in central Massachusetts area living out original Christianity in the present day. We are traditional in our Christian beliefs, relaxed in our style and unashamedly passionate about the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. For us, everything starts and ends with Jesus. WHAT CHURCH LIFE IS LIKE?
Our main service is a Sunday morning celebration where we worship, share our faith and listen to inspiring teaching. We aim to present the timeless message of Jesus Christ in a clear, fresh way and without compromise. We are contemporary in style and informal in our dress.
As a church, we fully embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit, His gifts and healing power as the normal Christian life for every believer. We have seen many people healed, set free and transformed through answered prayer.
In addition to our Sunday service we have events throughout the week including a dance team, youth evening, prayer evening and more. We have several small groups that meet during the week to pray and enjoy exploring our faith together.
Sturbridge Worship Center is led by Pastor Graham Jones from the UK and a wonderful team of men and women who serve our church body.
WHAT WE BELIEVE?
We believe the bible, we believe Jesus and we believe that being a Christian is the most incredible journey a person can take on earth! Sturbridge Worship Center is an evangelical church in faith. We have a full list of beliefs on our website. We concentrate more how we live out our values in community rather than focusing on obscure points of doctrine.
We are not interested in having a religion that does not change lives. We seek to faithfully represent Jesus to this culture and generation and want our doctrinal statement to be our testimony! At Sturbridge Worship Center we are all about relationships. We live to encourage and deepen people’s relationship with God, with each other and the world.
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
At Sturbridge Worship Center, we think that church has little to do with buildings and ceremonies. We believe it is all about people discovering God’s love and grace together. God is moving all over the world, and restoring the church to its original power, passion and purity. We purpose to be at the forefront of all that God is doing. As a church we are growing and believe we have a call to be a church that impacts the New England region.
HOW TO JOIN STURBRIDGE WORSHIP CENTER?
Welcome to a move of God! We love our church and are passionate about what God is doing in our midst. One of the best ways to connect with us is to arrange a time to meet with one of our leaders. We love to drink coffee and talk about Jesus!
